The solar system is the sun with its eight planets rotating around it. They are mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn ,Uranus and Neptune. A telescope is used to watch the planets .Venus and Mars are the two nearestPlanets to Earth. The smallest planet is mercury and the largest is Jupiter. Mercury is also the hottest planet as it is nearest to sun .The planets move around the sun in paths called orbits and they rotate on their axis . When the earth rotates on itself (24 hours ) day and night occurs and when it moves round the sun ,we have changes In seasons.
